Local Unit & Position Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, establishing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives and for implementing marketing initiatives through online and offline channels.



  • Develop marketing strategy and manage marketing resources for boosting growth. 
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities and Marketing team.
  • Conduct sales analysis, business review and market research.
  • Develop and implement annual marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
  • Manage promotion – new certification service launching, correct representation of brand and service, providing technical & marketing information for certification service.
  • Manage media and events – nationwide customer relations events, exhibitions, media relations, press release, social media marketing.
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results.
  • Determine and manage the marketing budget.
  • Collaborate with global/regional marketing team and local sales (customer service) team. 
  • Update and maintain DNV GL – Business Assurance and service websites in alignment with global guideline – DNV GL Group.  

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing and Testing, Inspection and Certification industry.
  • B2B & B2C marketing experience. 
  • Strategic thinking. 
  • Attention to details.
  • Effective Motivator in the team based work environment.
  • Direct Marketing & Sales experience on intangible service product in B2C type B2B market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Customer focused and consultative style of addressing issues and solutions.
  • A commitment to deliver highest quality service to clients.
  • Excellent at prioritising multiple tasks, managing conflicting deadlines and working effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Understands when to escalate.
  • Ability to gain commitment from others, effectively manage expectations and competing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, & interpersonal), along with attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills.
