Local Unit & Position Description

DNVGL Business Assurance UK (BAUK) is targeting significant revenue growth in 2018 and onwards building on and reaching out from the foundations laid over the last two years.

 

To enable this, BAUK “Certification” is looking to recruit an Inside Sales Executive to join the current team comprising of three external Sales Executives, one Sales Administrator and one Sales Manager.

 

The key objective for this dedicated Inside Sales Executive is to support our existing Sales Team by generating new pipeline opportunities, whilst also generating their own opportunities to achieve their individual target.

  

The Inside Sales Executive role will be sharply focused on pro-actively generating opportunities for themselves and the team, and the success of this role will constitute an essential contribution to BAUK reaching its goals.

 

The Inside Sales Executive will report to the Sales Manager in BAUK Certification. 

This position is an Office Based Role – Stamford Street, London

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Take a lead role in pro-actively building sales opportunities using specific channels, to either manage personally, or pass to External Sales Executives
  • Convert owned opportunities to sales to meet set personal sales targets, support other sales executives and Sales Manager in doing the same to meet BAUK sales targets.
  • Channel expectations and needs from customers, key stakeholders as well as other key players to BAUK management and other staff in a manner helping BAUK to align and adapt our service offerings as well as marketing and communication means to support BAUK growth ambitions
  • Ensure that all aspects of sales activities are recorded according to BA requirements (by use of ConCert system)
  • Take a lead role in delivering solutions-based sales and pro-active ‘insight selling’

Supporting Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and support colleagues in the other business development functions within BAUK, i.e. Customer Support Teams, Key Customer Managers, Principal and Senior Consultants, BAUK Management when appropriate.
  • Contribute to  underpin the Business Assurance strategic aspiration of helping customers to build Sustainable Business Performance
  • Represent BAUK in relevant internal (DNVGL) relationships, facilitate the necessary interactions to build opportunities and win work

Technical/ Professional Expertise and Qualifications Required:

  • Demonstrable experience of successful track record in business to business sales in a target driven environment
  • Demonstrable evidence of translating explicit and implicit customer needs and expectations into coherent, compelling and value adding offerings and solutions
  • Able to demonstrate evidence of successfully anticipating customer needs and expectations
  • Possess the ability to learn and understand the range of technical aspects of accreditation and audit
  • Processes and the commercial and technical interfaces relevant for the business setting in which Business Assurance operates
  • A background in Certification is not necessary however we are looking for experienced Sales professionals who are adaptable and looking for a new challenge and a chance to grow in a dynamic and motivated team.
