Local Unit & Position Description

We are looking for experienced IT Project Manager for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) related projects to further strengthen our PLM development team in Hamburg.

 

We developed our innovative new production system for our business area Oil & Gas. This tool is based on the PLM system Teamcenter from Siemens. Our new web based production system will be used by 2.000 employees worldwide, by our customers and our surveyors.

As a Project Manager you are leading and managing delivery and implementation projects for our PLM based solutions in consideration of scope, budget and time schedule:  

  • Project planning, documentation reporting and updating
  • Pro-active communication with customers
  • Internal organization and coordination of all activities between different units
  • Understanding of technical data and its implementation
  • Leading and executing meetings and workshops at customers
  • Analyses of customer processes and requirements and introduction of suitable processes and functionalities within the software products
  • Discussion of necessary adaptations and customizations
  • Holding of key user trainings
  • Coordination of activities within multiple projects

Position Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable studies
  • Suitable degree and profound experience in managing projects in the PLM area
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions
  • Ability to develop functional design specifications together with the client and transfer the requirements into project plans
  • Work independently and initiative to solve problems
  • Experiences in web based development would be an advantage
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry would be beneficial
  • Several years providing consulting services to external clients would be an advantage
  • Pro-active and creative solution finder able to identify risks, prioritize challenges, find alternatives and make decisions
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good skills in MS Office and MS Project
  • Good English and German language skills, both oral and written
  • Very good communication skills
  • Team player
