Local Unit & Position Description

DNV GL – Energy's Sustainable Energy Use – PDI group is seeking a Project Coordinator to join NV Energy Programs team,  this position is designated to support the Renewable Generations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a program which provides services to NV Energy in support of the Renewable Generations Program. This position is based out of our Reno, NV office.


Tasks May Include

  • Responsibility to ensure the processing of renewable energy applications
  • Educating customers and contractors on how to participate in the various programs
  • Assisting customers and contractors with the application process, submitting claims, processing incentives
  • Educating customers and contractors on program policies and procedures
  • Tracking key project metrics - the number of applications received, applications rejected, payments issued, etc.
  • Providing marketing and training relative to the program as approved by Company
  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reporting for web posting
  • Reviewing post installation incentive claim packages submitted and scheduling/executing post inspections
  • Participating in outreach events including community educational workshops
  • Participating in weekly or bi-weekly utility department meetings
  • Assisting the utility in daily/weekly/annual incentive tracking and reporting, along with relevant net metering metrics
  • Creating and updating electronic forms and spreadsheets
  • Faxing, copying, scanning and filing of documentation
  • Database management
  • Reports' preparation

Position Qualifications

What We're Asking

  • Associate’s degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative services
  • Must be able to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Excel skills will be tested
  • Customer service and phone skills, organization, grammar, and spelling skills are essential as well as the ability to work well under pressure in time-critical situations and be productive and self-motivated during slow periods
  • Positive, collaborative and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time to customer sites as required
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Skills (Not required)


  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Experience with PowerClerk, an online web application which manages incentive programs
  • Bilingual ability in Spanish and English 
  • Energy related experience
  • Advanced level in Excel
