The person is this role is responsible for project financials, including contract review, quality assurance of project accounting, expenditure coding, revenue recognition and WIP. The Project Controller is working closely with the Working Capital Manager in relation to project-level AR. The person in this role contributes to a culture of being accountable and taking responsibility.   Primary tasks of this role:  - Monitors, reports and advises on project financials status. - Pro-actively initiate timely & accurate invoicing according to customer contract and in line with the agreed global procedures. - Acts as business partner for Project and Line Managers by leading regular financial reviews of projects and portfolio of projects. - Ensures revenue is recognized on projects in line with DMS principles (such as POC and time and material principles) and project accounting principles (matching & accruals principles as well as correct revenue recognition with accurate profit margin recognition through life of project). - Analyzes and challenges input from Project Manager and Line Management where necessary. Perform initial review of expenditure detail, initiate and document PM review, direct Project Administrators to revise. - Manages or assist with project financial records. Pro-actively monitor projects for completion and close in a timely manner. - Monitors WIP to ensure future collectability and pro-actively take actions to minimize. - Analysis of projects for high risk items and informing business controllers where necessary. - Carrying out timely reviews of opportunities and bids in line with chart of authority limits. - Follows up on key operational processes in business such as missing timecards, Basware invoice processing etc. - Supports PMs and staff with basic financial queries and increasing awareness of commercial topics on projects. - Maintains records of work performed on projects to allow for follow up by Business Controllers or GSS. - Quality assures all accounting transactions and documents timely, in compliance with company guidelines to include Chart Of Authority, to ensure that the financial information is reliable. - Financial check of projects during closing phase to balance revenue with invoiced values and check for any write offs or windfalls.

Region Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America is therefore seeking the Project Administrator.   The Project Administrator is part of the regional Project Controlling team and reports to the regional Head of Project Controlling. The Project Administrator is responsible for efficient and timely handling of project set-up, project updates, invoicing and project closing with a focus on minimizing WIP days to maximize cashflow in the business always in line with the customer contract. Communicates with both internal and external clients in a timely, clear, concise and professional manner on all relating topics.   Primary tasks of this role:  - High proficiency in working with relevant systems performing project set-up, project updates, invoicing and project closing activities. - Ability to prioritize and deliver timely support requests. - Proactive, timely & accurate invoicing in line with contract to reduce WIP balances. - Collaborates and communicates regularly with the Project Controller and Project Manager on related items. - System related activities for assigned projects: - Project setup and Maintenance in L2C and TeamCenter (Including Agreement & Budget). - Project setup and Maintenance in Oracle Finance and Team/Agresso (Including Agreement & Budget). - Classifications; Task Creation and Maintenance; Bill Rate Addition and Maintenance; Project/Date revisions and closure; All other general Project setup and maintenance; QC of Project Setup for accurate transactional and general ledger processing and invoicing (Coordination with the PC and/or PM) - Draft Invoice Generation. - Transaction Control adjustments in Expenditure Inquiry (Time Transfers, Splits, Holds, Billable Flags, etc.), as directed by the Project Controller and/or Project Manager. - Works with the PC and/or the PM to resolve transactional errors in Oracle. - Event entry and processing related to invoicing, and Revenue Recognition. - Invoice Processing. - Invoice manual revisions to the formatted document, and attachments. - Invoice Distribution up to and including Client Portal Entry. - Credit Memo approval request, Oracle creation and processing.
