Our customers are private equity investors, banks, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), project developers and electric utilities. The Consultant will work across utility scale, commercial and industrial (C&I) and residential markets for energy storage systems, hybrid systems, microgrids and distributed energy resources. The Consultant will use energy system modeling, operations research, and predictive analytics to develop decision metrics for energy storage systems performance and valuation. This position will include responsibility for project leadership, inter-disciplinary business support and business development. This position will be key in growing DNV's Energy Storage Advisory practice offering innovative solutions in storage systems, hybrid renewable plus storage systems and the future of the electrical distribution system.   Broad knowledge of the electric industry is preferred, including market and technology trends and awareness of regulatory proceedings and policies at both the state and national level.    This position will be based in our Chalfont, PA or Portland, OR office. DNV – Business Assurance is seeking a Physical Environment (PE) Surveyor to join our Healthcare team. This position requires 80% travel and some work from home office. This position can be remote from anywhere in the Continental U.S. (excluding Colorado).   The primary function of the Physical Environment (PE) Surveyor is to participate as a member of the NIAHO® hospital survey team ensuring provider compliance with the guidelines, principles and written instructions established by DNV.   The PE surveyor partners with hospital staff in assessing compliance with the Life Safety Code and other non-patient care related functions.  As a new surveyor, you will be trained and then partnered with an experienced surveyor as an observer and then a participant.  Once you have proven your ability to conduct surveys to DNV’s standards you will become a fully qualified Physical Environment Surveyor and team member.    Tasks May Include - Conduct survey activities focused on non-patient care activities - Ensure that survey work is performed in accordance with the quality requirements of the activity, and the procedures governing the activity. - Plan and execute surveys, reports the results of the surveys and follow-up, as required, within agreed timescales and economic budgets - Where applicable, supervise the work and provide guidance and/or training to other survey team members - Ensure that the independent nature of the survey is not compromised at any time.
