The Electric Grid Product Centre develops complete field and office transmission and distribution asset management and power system planning products, providing both short term tactical reliability solutions and long-term reliability and replacement strategy. The long-term business goal is to establish a leading position as an Asset Performance Management software provider for utility companies worldwide. The Head of Electric Grid Product Centre is responsible for developing and maintaining the software code in a defined portfolio of products, solutions, and APIs according to business requirements set by the Product Line Director. He/she is responsible for executing the technology strategy and the product roadmap for the Product Centre. The Head of Pipeline Product Centre is overall responsible for the continuous delivery of software products, platforms, and solutions, and for contributing to customer success. The Head of Electric Grid Product Centre is also responsible for continuing the cloud transformation, handling the technology dept and for inspiring the teams to develop new competence and find new, agile ways of working in a hybrid operating model. In this role, our team provides technical consulting and independent engineering services for solar project developers, financial institutions, and investors who rely upon our reports as part of their investment decision making process. The Project Manager will be responsible for organizing the technical due diligence review process to support the finance and construction of solar projects in North America; communicating and resolving technical issues with clients and lenders/investors; and travelling to project sites in all parts of the country to perform ongoing site inspections PV plants.   This position is based out of our San Diego CA, Portland OR, Oakland CA, Seattle WA, Austin TX, Chalfont PA, OR Medford, MA offices. Remote locations in the US may also be considered.   Tasks May Include   - Prioritizing QHSE considerations within the team to ensure safe execution and healthy work environment. - Initiating and coordinating the technical review process among internal specialists (including civil and electrical engineering, energy assessment, technology experts, permitting, etc). - Performing portions of the due diligence reviews, including contract and financial model (OPEX and CAPEX) reviews. - Coordinating input from technical specialists and writing of the due diligence reports. - Discussing and resolving technical issues with project developers and lenders/investors, including coordinating input on such issues from internal technical specialists as necessary. - Developing and winning proposals for scopes of services related to due diligence work. - Coordinating construction monitoring by DNV , including performing site visits. - Supporting customers through the financial closings of projects. - Participating in continuous improvement efforts for the Solar IE team, including leading tool development, process refinement, and lessons learned activities.

DNV Maritime Region Americas is seeking a Surveyor and Auditor to join our Montreal Station.    As a fleet in service Senior Surveyor and Lead auditor for Montreal you will be member of a highly-qualified team of surveyors and serving the maritime industry and various ship types (e.g.: bulk carriers, containers, general cargo, tankers, lakers, passenger vessels) calling ports in Quebec and Ontario provinces.   Tasks may include - Conduct inspection surveys and certification of ships in service to ascertain the condition of mechanically functioning hulls, machinery, equipment, and equipage to determine repairs required for vessels to meet requirements for classification. Bladed is the industry-leading wind turbine design tool used by wind turbine manufacturers, consultants, researchers and for certification.   Bladed is a desktop application with an increasing Cloud presence. It makes use of a wide range of technologies and tools. At the core of Bladed is a simulation engine developed in C++ and Fortran. Several user facing modules - including graphical user interfaces, APIs, Cloud services and scheduling systems, facilitate access to this core engine. These user facing modules are developed primarily in .NET.   We are looking for an experienced software developer with strong aptitude for software architecture, design and development to join our agile team. The role focuses exclusively on the user facing modules within the Bladed software ecosystem.   Current and upcoming relevant focus areas for the development team are: - Design and development of the next generation of Bladed user facing modules (involving a technology refresh from the ground up) - Design and develop new highly performant APIs to allow customers to use Bladed at scale and to better integrate with other engineering tools In the role you will: - Lead the technology evaluation and prototyping to set the future direction of the product - Contribute to the software architecture, design and development of new modules and features, with an emphasis on APIs and services - Assist with the maintenance of existing modules and features - Guide less experienced developers - Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to understand the domain and capture user requirements
