Smart Cable Guard is an innovative online multi-functional monitoring system for medium-voltage (MV) power cable networks. Safety and Integrity provide a wide range of safety engineering, safety risk management and asset risk services to the oil and gas industry, using a comprehensive range of tools for consequence modelling and risk analysis.   The role of the Safety Risk Principal Consultant sits within Loughborough Safety Risk and will be based in Loughborough or Aberdeen, but there will also be a requirement to travel in the UK and occasionally overseas for client-related work. The Safety Risk Principal Consultant reports to a Head of Section and has responsibility for the winning, project management and technical delivery of projects. The role involves customer interaction to develop technical scopes of work, pricing, project schedules and delivery plans in order to deliver the required solutions. The role also includes contributing to innovation through developing new methods or adapting existing tools for solving new problems.   Key accountabilities: - Lead and project manage the delivery of technical solutions to customers within the required timeframe, cost and quality standards while delivering the planned profit for DNV. - Lead the general delivery of technical consultancy services to Gas Transmission and Distribution Network Customers using in-house tools and methodologies.
